Susan Jackson is President of the International Seafood Sustainability Foundation (ISSF), a global partnership of scientists, tuna processors and environmental organisations dedicated to advancing the long-term conservation and sustainable use of tuna stocks, reducing bycatch and promoting healthy marine ecosystems.
Before joining ISSF, Susan served as Vice President for Government and Industry Relations and Seafood Sourcing at Del Monte Foods, where she was responsible for government relations at the federal, state and local levels, as well as seafood sourcing for the company's StarKist brand.
Susan joined the H.J. Heinz Company in 1997 as an attorney before moving into seafood sourcing and procurement roles. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor (JD) from Duke University.

Dr. Adisorn Promthep is currently an Advisor to the Thai Tuna Industry Association (TTIA) and an expert in fisheries policy, rural development, and coastal resource management.
He previously served as Director-General of Thailand Department of Fisheries, where he initiated the Fisheries Reform policy to enhance the entire seafood supply chain in line with international standards, focusing on sustainability, environmental responsibility, hygiene, and traceability, and ensuring Thai seafood is free from IUU fishing and labor issues. He also served as Minister (Agriculture) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, Belgium, and Washington, D.C., United States of America.
Dr. Promthep holds a B.Sc. in Fisheries from Kasetsart University, Thailand (1981), an M.Sc. in Planning from the University of Guelph, Canada (1991), and a Ph.D. in Planning from the University of Waterloo, Canada (1996).

Jorge has built most of his professional career in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors. Before joining Marine Instruments, he served as General Manager of Amerger Casamance in Dakar, Senegal, a company within the S.A. Eduardo Vieira fishing group. He is currently the Director of Sustainable Fisheries at Marine Instruments, where he focuses on developing innovative technologies that support more efficient, responsible and sustainable fisheries.

Nicolas Guichoux is the Chief Program Officer at the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), where he leads the development and delivery of the organisation's global programme strategy. Since joining the MSC in 2002, he has played a key role in expanding the organisation's global reach and strengthening its impact in promoting sustainable fisheries and seafood supply chains.
After graduating from the École des Dirigeants et Créateurs d'Entreprise (EDC) Business School in France, Nicolas began his career in international business at the French Chamber of Commerce in the Republic of Korea. In 1997, he joined leading French seafood processor Cité Marine as Export Manager. Originally from Brittany, France's principal fishing region, Nicolas developed a strong interest in the environmental and social impacts of fisheries, which led him to join the MSC as Manager for Continental Europe in 2002. He was appointed Regional Director for Europe in 2007 before assuming his current role as Chief Program Officer.
Nicolas is also a member of the MSC Executive Committee, where he contributes to the organisation's strategic direction and its mission to advance sustainable fisheries worldwide.

Marcelo Hidalgo is the Chief Operating Officer of the Fishing Industry Association of Papua New Guinea (FIA PNG) and the Founder and Director of SeafoodMatter. With more than 29 years of experience across the fisheries and aquaculture supply chain, Marcelo has advised major seafood retailers, tuna fishing companies, seafood processors, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and governments on responsible sourcing, sustainability and supply chain improvement. His expertise encompasses aquaculture management, fisheries improvement, sustainability standards, strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
He developed and implemented the FIA PNG Responsible Sourcing Policy (RSP), which has strengthened responsible fishing practices and delivered positive environmental and social outcomes across Papua New Guinea's tuna industry. Marcelo currently serves on the boards of several international organisations, including the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI), the Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability (GDST), the Global Ghost Gear Initiative (GGGI), the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), MarinTrust and AQUALIT.

Martin Purves is the Managing Director of the International Pole & Line Foundation (IPNLF), a position he has held since 2016. With more than 20 years of experience in fisheries management, conservation and sustainable seafood, his career spans field research, government, consultancy, market-based initiatives and the non-profit sector.
Martin began his career as a fisheries observer, spending more than three years at sea on commercial fishing vessels and scientific research cruises across the Southern, Indian, Atlantic and Pacific oceans. He later served as a fisheries resource manager for the South African Government, representing the country at Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (RFMO) meetings, before joining consultancy roles with MRAG and Capfish.
He subsequently established and led the Marine Stewardship Council's Southern Africa Programme for seven years. Drawing on extensive experience across fisheries science, policy and market-based sustainability initiatives, Martin continues to support the advancement of responsible fisheries and sustainable seafood supply chains worldwide.

Julio Morón Ayala holds a doctorate in Biological Sciences and has more than three decades of experience in fisheries science, management and international fisheries policy. He began his career as a fisheries observer aboard commercial fishing vessels before joining the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Indo-Pacific Tuna Programme (IPTP) in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He later served as Head of the Spanish Fisheries Office in Seychelles.
Julio subsequently joined the Organisation of Associated Producers of Large Freezer Tuna Vessels (OPAGAC) as Scientific Advisor and later became Managing Director of OPAGAC/AGAC, where he continues to contribute to the development of sustainable tuna fisheries and international fisheries policy.

He served for 10 years as Managing Director of Tri-Marine International Pte Ltd, based in Singapore, one of the world's largest integrated tuna fishing, processing and trading companies. Following the company's integration into the Bolton Food Group in 2019, Phil continued to oversee trading and operations across the Asia-Pacific region.
He remains a Director of Tri-Marine International and its subsidiaries and currently serves as Chairman of the boards of SolTuna Ltd, a tuna cannery and processor, and National Fisheries Developments Ltd, a tuna fishing company, both based in the Solomon Islands. He also serves as Senior Business Adviser to the Chief Executive Officer of the Bolton Food Group.
