TUNA 2020, the 16th INFOFISH World Tuna Trade Conference & Exhibition which was scheduled to take place from 27-29 May 2020 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok is now postponed to 19-21 May 2021.

Mindful of the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had in entirety amongst industries across the globe with lockdowns, travel restrictions, bans on mass gatherings, etc as well as having taken into consideration requests from key stakeholders, the decision to reschedule TUNA 2020 to next year was done in the best interests of all parties concerned. We are clear that our prime consideration was the safety and wellbeing of TUNA 2020 conference delegates, exhibitors, co-organizers, sponsors, supporters, collaborators, visitors and all those who would otherwise have traveled to be at TUNA 2020 this year.

Amidst these challenging times, we are encouraged by the unwavering interest from the industry for this Conference and Exhibition to continue to provide a platform for the global tuna industry to gain insights on the industry and most importantly, the opportunity to network. Rest assured that we, together with our partners, remain resolute in delivering the best as we continue to work towards successfully organising a safe TUNA 2021, in May next year.

Notwithstanding the fact that INFOFISH Trade Conferences are normally biannual, it has been decided, taking into account the extraordinary global circumstances since January 2020, that the 17th Tuna Conference will take place as scheduled in 2022. Thereafter, the Conference will revert back to its normal biannual basis.

In the coming weeks leading up to TUNA 2021, we will be announcing our updated programme that will reflect the impact of COVID-19 on the global tuna industry including a series of webinars and a special pre-event this year. We will also soon be contacting all conference delegates and exhibitors who have registered, on the new arrangements due to the rescheduling of the event to 2021.

Please do look out for regular updates on our website at and our social media platforms.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to you joining us at TUNA 2021 in Bangkok.
